Thanks to all of you who made it last night! We had a really good turn out and we enjoyed meeting you all afterwards.

Here's some info on how to get a radio show and how to get involved.

Getting a show:

If you didn't manage to get an application form last night, download a form or you can pick one up from the office in E203 (directly above the gym - more detailed directions are below). This form will help you structure your thoughts and we will take it during the interview to make notes on your show.

After you have a form, there are a couple of sheets outside Pulse with interview slots. There will be instructions on the sheets, but basically sign up to a slot that suits you (preferably the earliest suitable). Then come back up to the office for that time on that day and bring your charm with you!

Interviews will be from 11am-5pm on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th October.

We will then let you know on Friday if we have a show for you. We will also get in touch with any of you that we would like to be producers of shows.

This Sunday we will have a training workshop for our new hosts and so the afternoon should be kept/made free! This is really important as we will begin broadcasting next week!

Getting Involved in teams:

If you like what you heard last night or what you have read on the website and want to be on a team then drop an email to the relevant committee member and they will meet up with you during the week.

DIRECTIONS TO PULSE'S OFFICE AND STUDIOS

In the Quad, if you are looking at the stage, to the left there is a set of double doors. Go through these and scale the metal stairs, then up the stairs again.

You are now at the gym. Take a right at the top of the stairs and you see another double door. Go through this and up another set of stairs.

At the top, turn left through (you guessed it) more double doors. Pulse Radio is the second door on the left.

This corridor also has The Beaver, LooSE TV and Clare Market Review. It's easier than it sounds. Those instructions are just super detailed!
