Beyonce crowned Queen of the Grammys...

Beyonce Knowles won a record 6 Grammys at last night's awards ceremony in L.A., making her the most decorated female artist in history. 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)' won 3 awards for Best R&B Song, Best R&B Female Vocal and Song of the Year, and her performance of the Etta James' classic 'At Last' for Barack Obama won Best Traditional R&B performance. The awards bring her total of Grammys up to 16, including 3 she won with Destiny's Child.
Kings of Leon win for 'Use Somebody'
The coveted Record of the Year award went to Kings of Leon for 'Use Somebody'. The Nashville boys also won Best Rock Song and Best Rock Duo or Group with Vocals. "We're a little drunk, but we're happy drunk," said Kings of Leon lead singer Caleb Followill upon accepting the award.
Disappointing Results for Brits
It was a disappointing night for the British contingent at the Grammys, with Imogen Heap taking home one of the few gongs for Best Engineer - the second women ever to win the award. Other British hopes, including the Pet Shop Boys, Adele and the Ting Tings all lost out in their categories.

This is unrelated to the blog entry, but what song was playing at 10:12 pm on Thursday, Feb. 4? Yes, it's one of those "I love that song, what the hell was it" questions. Apologies. But if you do happen to know, could you please post it on the blog (or this comment section)? Thank you for the good tunes. Carry on.
