Frank Turner's 3rd studio album: 'Poetry of the Deed'...

The 2008 release of the second album, "Love Ire & Song” grabbed the attention of alternative music stations Radio 1 and X-fm back in January this year, the single “Reasons Not To Be An Idiot” heralded the support of a new crop of folk-loving-indie-crowd: flinging the former LSE student from out of the underground to new pastures such as playing ‘Reading & Leeds’ festivals and collaborating with Grammy nominated producer Alex Newport, (who’s worked with ‘Death Cab For Cutie’ and  ‘At the Drive-In’ to name but a few), on his third studio album “Poetry of the Deed.”

Dead Prez at Koko

Even if you’ve never heard of M1 or stic.man you’ll have heard Dead Prez. 2000’s monster hit ‘Hip-Hop’ has provided warm up material to literally thousands of hip-hop dj’s and is a sure floor filler. When dropped tonight the roof almost comes off the former Camden Palace as some 1,500 people raise their hands in tribute. But beyond that…

Bombay Bicycle Club: Always Like This

The first release from Bombay Bicycle Club’s remarkable debut album, ‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose’, firmly cements the North London quartet’s place at the top of the British indie music scene. A long time had elapsed devoid of an album release following the band’s projection into the spotlight in 2006, as one of the most talked about newcomers in the country, leaving sceptics to wonder whether the hype had got too much.
